Part Two Of My Vintage Style Series For Hotter Shoes

As regular readers will know, I am currently working on a vintage style series with Hotter Shoes. In my first post; I explored a 1950s look with Sorbet loafers.

For this post, I style a 1940s inspired look with Carnival peep-toes. To view the full post, and to read about styles of shoes popular during the 1940s; visit the Hotter Shoes blog – It’s A Shoe Thing here.

Outfit details:

I adore the gorgeous minty-green shade of Carnival (they are also available in other colours and patterns too), and I knew it would go perfectly with this original vintage blouse. It seems, once you start looking for a colour, you see it everywhere! Coincidentally, my glasses are the same shade, and these hoop earrings also proved to be a very close match. It seems I have been unwittingly hoarding minty-green accessories and clothing for a while!

Stay tuned for my next post in the series, where I will be styling a 1930s inspired look.

Until next time dears!

I am hoping to get some of my own. Any chance you could use your connections at Hotter to get a promo code for your adoring followers?

Thank you so much Wendy! I was hoping that the colour of the shoes would match my vintage top, and when the shoes arrived I couldn’t believe how close a match it was! Hurrah! 🙂 xx

Thank you Jessica! It certainly brings a smile to my face looking down at my feet encased in pretty shoes! I am waiting for the weather to warm-up a bit so I can wear these ones a bit more. The day we took the photos for the article; it was 2degrees centigrade! Brrrrr 🙂

    Hi Victoria,
Now that is a great idea! I will pass the idea on and see what they say. Although, they do run special offers pretty frequently, so it might also be worth keeping an eye on their Facebook page/sign-up to their newsletter to make sure you don’t miss any coupon codes & special offers. 🙂 xx
